Product works fantastic. Just takes a bit the first week to get the chlorine and salt level just right but after then, keeps everything beautifully. Added some chlorine the first week (once) and haven't had to touch it since. We live it hot weather and pool is crystal clear with none of the issues that come with chlorine. Just a hint for setup, go a bit low on the salt and then test it as it's much easier to added salt if too low. If you put too much, you have to drain out water and refill to get the level right. Also follow the recommended time suggestion for the generator until you can see what level works best. Then, you may be able to back it off a bit like I was able to do.
Only bad part is when the power goes out, you lose the time settings for when it runs and also can't use a timer like you can on a pump as you have to turn it on at the time of the day you want it to run...lose power and you have to start over again which is a small pain. If you're away from home on a vaction and this happens, you may come home to find everything out of whack however. Intex folks...you need to make the product work with timers and power outages just like you can do with your pumps.

I would love to have given this saltwater generator the marks it may or may not deserve, however, the flow sensor it came with was defective and although Intex was contacted and we received a claim number - 4 weeks later we still have not received the part. Keep in mind that you get what you pay for both in product quailty and customer service.... -- Would be nice if it came with working parts
Worked for 2 weeks, now low salt indicator. Added required salt, then more salt, no luck. Don't waste your money. -- Caution
I purchased this over a month ago. Watched the dvd, setup was easy. I put 4 bags of salt in and the chlorine has been perfect amd it doesn't taste salty and looks clear everyday:)I am very happy I went to salt water this year. -- Works like a charm....
Very good set-up directions. I was a little anxious after seeing a couple of negative reviews, but product worked well. Trouble-shooting directions and indicators are great. First salt chlorinator I've had and that's all I'll have from now on. I recommend. -- Great product! Clean, clear water!
