Amazon delivered next day. Generator was delivered undamaged in it's original box. Set-up was simple. I just added oil and gas. I have used the generator on three occasions (once for 14 hours straight) and it has performed flawlessly. A little louder than similiar Homda I have, but still pretty quiet. At less than half the price of the Honda, this generator is a very good value. -- FULLY SATISFIED
had genorator for a month used it on my camper made the mistake of trying to run a coffee maker BIG MISTAKE!! it has never run again it it triped the breaker and would not reset so it is just sitting in the garage now and will never be used agian it would cost me more then i paid to fix it so please becarefull when buying this genorator it is a cheep one!!!! -- not worth money
I have had nothing but trouble from both units I bought from Menards. It will not power a 500 watt light which is what I wanted it for. It trips the breaker constantly. It is very difficult to start and Menards will not return or exchange it without special authorization from ETQ. Tech Support at ETQ talks to you like you are an idiot. I just returned the original I bought and got a new one from Menards. I absolutely cannot start it. I am mad as hell because now I am just plain stuck with a generator that does not work. ETQ will not give refunds. Do not, absolutely, do not buy one. -- Don't buy it!!!
Bought this unit based on the specifications that it was a quiet generator. I ran this with no load and it ran noisier than the Honda 2000 I rented under a half-load. Guess what !!! you buy it you keep it The unit cannot be returned to Amazon nor the manufacturer. BUYER BEWARE!!!!!!!! -- Buyer Beware
I bought this generator to power a 25 amp battery charger to keep aboard my boat. The battery charger is rated at 490 watts or about 4 amps at 120V. It trips the circuit breaker as soon as I plug it in everytime. I wanted a refund, but Amazon would not help me and said I had to go to manufacturer. ETQ said they do not give refunds and that I had to go to Amazon. After several calls back and forth to each, ETQ is swapping it out for another one. In conclusion I am stuck with all the extra shipping costs and a generator that won't power what I need. Bad experience from both Amazon and ETQ....I will look else where for another product. -- Can't get 500 watts out of this unit
